The "Cells" research area focuses on understanding the fundamental behaviors of cells in both healthy and pathological environments. Our teams investigate cell–cell and cell–matrix interactions, mechanobiology, and the cellular responses to biophysical and biochemical cues. These studies are essential to unravel the complex mechanisms of tissue regeneration and to identify new therapeutic targets. The laboratory works extensively with various human and animal cell types, including stem cells and IPS cells, to explore their potential in regenerative medicine. This cellular-level research forms the foundation upon which innovative tissue engineering and clinical applications are built.
