Is a research engineer at the BioTis Laboratory (INSERM U1026) and a member of the ART BioPrint team at the University of Bordeaux, specializing in tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, and nanomedicine applications. He has extensive international experience in cell culture, bioprinting, and drug formulation, with a focus on developing innovative bioinks for advanced 3D bioprinting aimed at enhancing tissue regeneration. His expertise includes the development of advanced 3D co-culture systems, the optimization of high-throughput bioprinting techniques, and the design of platforms that accurately simulate biological environments. He also contributes to the molecular and biochemical characterization of various biological models, including synovial models related to rheumatoid arthritis, in addition to developing nanotechnology-based systems for targeted drug delivery. Through his research experience in France, Germany, and Ireland, Shane integrates multidisciplinary approaches to deepen the understanding of disease mechanisms and drive innovation within modern health technologies.
